Dual Plating and 3D Molds Help Make Challenge Coins Stand Out

The custom challenge coins that we created for this event are special in many ways.  One reason that we say this is because of the dual plating.  Another feature that catches people’s attention is the beautiful handsculpted 3D mold.  The overall size of the challenge coin is impressive because it is larger than most and is 2.5”.

Bold Images and Text Make Coins Meaningful for Recipients

Symbols including the American flag and the eight stars going down the left and right side of the coin add appeal and special meaning to the gifts.  The detailing of the map on the backside is also remarkable.  You can really accentuate certain areas of your challenge coins by using a bold image or meaningful text.

Commander’s Coin Presented to Worthy Soldiers of the 809th Expeditionary Red Horse Squadron

Wednesday, December 14th, 2011

A Commander’s challenge coin is rare and desirable by soldiers.  Handed out to a select few members of the military, it is a time honored tradition dating back to World War II.  A wealthy lieutenant created custom challenge coins for all members of his squadron.  Since then, groups of all types and sizes have requested custom coins for the events that they put on throughout the year.

Different squadrons create coins that are handed out by the Commander.  All those that show excellence in their duty receive these special coins.  Because not everyone receives one, the custom challenge coins become very valuable.  Recipients typically display and store their award in places where other people will see them.

This custom coin pictured here has an antique silver finish and a bezel edge which quickly grabs your attention upon first glance.  Incorporating sayings, mottos, logos and the like that represent the squadron or the mission that they were on are great ways to make the coins sentimental and meaningful.  3D molds, decorative edges, and sequential numbering are a few other ways to make your Commander’s coins stand out.

A time honored tradition, custom challenge coins are used to reward exemplary individuals worldwide.  Having one of these tokens of appreciation on hand when being challenged in a social setting is very ideal for military members.  Producing an acceptable coin prevents the man or woman from having to buy drinks for the challenger.

Order your custom challenge coins today.  Visit http://www.challengecoinsplus.com to see what we have to offer.  You can also email info@challengecoinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 to request a free price quote.  We’ll also send you a full color digital proof for you to look over.  This allows us to create the type of coins that your military members will appreciate.

Retirement Community Honors Its Veteran Residents with a Custom Challenge Coin

Tuesday, December 13th, 2011

A popular retirement option these days is living in villages or communities made up of other retired men and women.  This way, you are surrounded by others that are in the same chapter of life and also near people that enjoy common interests.  Recently, a retirement village contacted us with a challenge coin project they had in mind.  They wanted to design a coin that had their retirement village name on one side and on the other side a thank you message to veterans who live in their community.

Soft Enamel Color Fills Will Never Fade or Chip

The custom challenge coin was to have the five branches of the military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Marines) all represented with the appropriate seal on the back side of the coin.  As you can see from the image here, we were able to accommodate the request of our customer.  This 1.75” custom coin has been plated in our high polish gold.  Soft enamel color fills have been baked into the coin at a high temperature to ensure this coin’s colors will never fade or chip.

The Village’s Logo is an Exact Replica and Duplicated on the Challenge Coin

We were able to use the exact logo of the village on the front so that the design stayed true the original logo that is well known in their area.  This helps others recognize the retirement community and works as free advertising.  Future residents see the coins and know that the residents there are being well taken care of.  This will make them be more inclined to inquire about your services and facilities.

Thank you coins like the one pictured here are a perfect way to honor individuals who have gone the extra mile.  See for yourself by visiting our coin gallery located at http://www.challengecoinsplus.com/gallery.html.  You can also email info@challengecoinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 to request a price quote.  We can’t wait to hear how you will pay tribute to the veterans in your retirement community.

As you probably know, these small gift items come in many shapes and sizes. From chocolates to fancy soap, we’re sure you have seen a lot of different types of favors throughout the years.

We recently had the privilege of designing a challenge coin that will be used as the gift handed out to wedding guests. The special thing about this coin is that the couple decided to have us stamp their wedding vows onto the backside. Now whenever anyone looks at this coin, they will remember this special day.

The symbol of two rings interconnected is also a perfect touch for any wedding coin but any design or photograph can be used on the challenge coins. That’s what makes customization so attractive. No other Bride and Groom will have the exact same coins that you have.

Clean, classic silver and black was the color scheme the couple wanted to go with because it complimented their wedding colors. Tying a theme into the artwork on a custom challenge coin is easy. Just let us know what your idea or concept is and our talented team of graphic artists will get to work making your design one that you can truly be proud of.

Iron Order Motorcycle Club Challenge Coins are Custom Made for the Nebraska Chapter

Friday, December 9th, 2011

The Iron Order Motorcycle Club was started in a garage by a group of hardcore bikers wanting to share brotherhood and socialize with one another.  Members of the group come from all walks of life and all over the nation.  They are independent and do not belong to any associations. The group has their own clubhouse.  Members maintain the same probationary and hang around traditions that MCs established many years ago.  They stand together as brothers.

The club has a large number of members who are gun enthusiasts.  One look at the back of this coin and you can see how we incorporated their passion for guns into the coin.  Staying true to traditional iron order coins, we kept the colors of the coin black and white with sliver trim.  Motorcycle club challenge coins have become more and more popular each and every year.

The coin pictured here has the 3D mold of their club logo on the front which has been laid over the state of Nebraska.  The 3D mold actually is hand carved by one of our sculptors.  Custom touches like these drastically increase the value of custom challenge coins.  Not only are they attractive and long lasting, they are also memorable.

Challenge coins like this are used for a variety of reasons.  Often times they are given to new members of the motorcycle club or handed out at poker runs and charity rides.  This allows members to spread the word about their efforts as well as welcome new bikers into their chapter.

If you want a memorable gift item to give away, you should order custom challenge coins.  Visit http://www.challengecoinsplus.com to request a free price quote and full color digital proof featuring the artwork we create for your personalized product.  You can discuss your ideas with us by calling 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  Or, if you’d rather email us your ideas, you can at info@challengecoinsplus.com.  No matter what way you choose to reach us, know that you will receive the best customer service our company has to offer.

5K Run Converts Custom Challenge Coins Into Medals for Participants

Thursday, December 8th, 2011

5k’s are 3.1 mile runs/walks that occur throughout the year.  Often times the run/walk is not only a competition, but a way to raise money and awareness for a certain cause.  Whether it’s for breast cancer research, diabetes or to honor a holiday, 5k’s are becoming more and more popular.

The medal you see here was handed out to participants who ran/walked the NRSP Foundations Thanksgiving Day race a few weeks ago.  Often with races like this, we make a portion of the medals gold, some silver, and some copper.  This is a cost effective way to distinguish different groups of runners.  Because the mold stays the same, there is no charge to make the different plating colors.

Challenge Coins Can Be Modified Into Custom Medals

Our challenge coins are very versatile.  Not only can they stand alone as challenge coins but with a few minor modifications, they can be turned into a medal for your next 5k.  All we have to do is add a loop at the top of your medal and a ribbon and you are all set.  Your custom products are made in a way that reflects the time, effort, and skill of the men and women who choose to participate in your special event.

Ribbons Make It Possible to Wear and Display Medals

With each medal comes a nice, wide ribbon that easily allows the wearer to display their medal around their neck.  This also makes it possible to hang the prize in a glass case or on a wall where everyone can see it.  Custom medals have higher perceived value than other types of prizes and that’s why they are something people to choose to hang onto.

For your next 5K, half marathon or full marathon, consider converting a challenge coin into a custom medal.  We can help you do just that.  Visit http://www.challengecoinsplus.com today to see samples of the medals we have created in the past.  You can also email info@challengecoinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 to speak to a sales professional about your idea or concept.

Drug Rehabilitation Clinics Incorporating Custom Challenge Coins Into Patients’ Daily Lives

Wednesday, December 7th, 2011

Treatment centers and rehabilitation clinics play a large role in the recovery process.  Individuals that need assistance overcoming an addiction or destructive behavior often find success after checking into one of these facilities.  A large part of getting better relies on the patient’s ability to mark their progress along the way.  Custom challenge coins are perfect for that reason alone.  Men and women looking for a new lease on life can receive the encouragement that they need to be well again when awarded a special gift or memento for their achievements.

Custom Challenge Coins Serve as Educational Tools

Custom challenge coins like the one you see here give patients a visual reminder of principals they are learning at the clinic.  The tokens are handed out when certain achievements are made during the recovery process.  When the patients graduate, they receive a custom coin to honor and celebrate that achievement.

More Than a Gift Item, Challenge Coins Persuade Others to Make Good Choices

As the newly recovered individuals go out in the world, they are armed with the lessons learned from the clinic but also with a tangible item that they can keep in their pocket at all times.  Just by touching the coin in their pocket or seeing it throughout the day, they are reminded of the tools they learned from rehab to make the right decisions day in and day out.

Custom Coins Build Relationships Between Clinics and Patients

By incorporating the logo of the clinic on one side along with strong inspirational words, the coin helps patients know they are in good hands.  The gift items are also handed out to the staff at the clinics as a thank you for the job that they do each and every day.  Recovery centers singlehandedly help one person at a time start a new path to a healthy and more productive lifestyle.

Be the change you wish to see in the world.  Inspire the patients in your treatment facility to turn over a new leaf.  Order challenge coins from http://www.challengecoinsplus.com today.  You’ll be pleased with the positive results you’ll see by incorporating an incentive into your program.  Email info@challengecoinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 with your inquiry.

Police Department Investigative Division Challenge Coins Celebrate Loyalty, Integrity and Dedication

Tuesday, December 6th, 2011

Police detectives play a crucial role in communities.  They gather the information needed to break cases, thwart criminal activities, and arrest suspects.  Without these brave men and women serving and protecting cities around the world, neighborhoods and city streets wouldn’t be as safe and secure as they are today.

The custom challenge coin pictured here is a great way to give members of smaller groups within the police force an identity.  Because it is double sided, you can highlight the division or unit on one side, and highlight the entire police department on the other.  The coin has the actual badge that the officers wear on the front side which is a great way to represent the department.

Sequential numbering makes the challenge coins more valuable and personal.  The detectives wanted their core values to highlight the back of the coin.  You can see in the center of the coin the words Loyalty, Integrity, and Dedication.  A slogan like this can be added to custom challenge coins as a way of making them more relevant and personal.

The colors of this coin, black and gold, are often times used for police challenge coins.  We added a small amount of navy blue on the front side to help keep the integrity of the badge color scheme intact.  Color can be used in a way that adds to the appeal of the custom coins.

Honor male and female police detectives today with custom challenge coins.  Not only do they make a great gift for special occasions like anniversaries and holidays, they also can be used to reward heroic efforts.  At awards ceremonies and banquets, few gifts compete with a challenge coin.

See for yourself how Challenge Coins Plus can help you create a gift rich with personal meaning and detail.  Email info@challengecoinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free.  In addition to free design services, we also offer free shipping.

United Nations Challenge Coins Presented to Deserving Security Personnel

Monday, December 5th, 2011

The United Nations is an international organization.  It was founded in 1945 as a way of promoting peace and security, human rights, better living standards, and friendly relations with 51 countries around the globe.  According to the UN website, “The Organization works on a broad range of fundamental issues, from sustainable development, environment and refugees protection, disaster relief, counter terrorism, disarmament and non-proliferation, to promoting democracy, human rights, gender equality and the advancement of women, governance, economic and social development and international health, clearing landmines, expanding food production, and more, in order to achieve its goals and coordinate efforts for a safer world for this and future generations.”

We were contacted by the organization with a special request.  The United Nations security personnel will be receiving the custom challenge coins pictured here. Gifts like these instantly raise the morale of a group of recipients.  Rich in detail and personal meaning, they are the type of keepsake item that people hold onto for years and years.  The reason behind this is because they are custom and have a higher perceived value than other types of award items.

The U.N. seal is the primary image on the backside of this classy custom challenge coin. The front side has the security seal that this group uses.  Challenge coins are ideal because they have two sides and plenty of room for images, pictures, and text.  This allows the group creating the coins creative license over how they look and what they say.

Coins like the one pictured here are extremely personal and meaningful for the people that they are given to.  Because they are custom made, the chances of meeting another country with the same UN coin is impossible.  Creating unique challenge coins allows us to really get to know our customers, their likes, and values.

The colors of this coin were intentional and thought out by the customer.  Because we can match custom colors, it opens up a vast range of options for designing.  Take advantage of our free design services by contacting http://www.challengecoinsplus.com today.  Our team of artists and sales representatives is standing by now to help you with your next custom challenge coin project.  Email info@challengecoinsplus.com or call 1-800-252-0904 toll-free for a free quote.
